It's possible to know what the Bible says, believe that it's true, and still have a life that doesn't really reflect it. James and Peter challenge us to close that gap — to actually do what God says, stand firm when following Jesus gets difficult, and keep growing into the people God is forming us to become. Because Christianity isn't just about what we know or believe. The closer we walk with God, the more it should change the way we actually live.
